Service & Repair - Repairs Policy

We are the sole authorised UK Service centre for Traser ® H3 watches and can carry out all repairs and service to every model. We only use genuine spare parts supplied by the Swiss manufacturers, mb-microtec and hold in stock the complete range of components for every current model and most older models as well. As all of the work is carried out In House, we expect to return your watch within 7 days from receipt.

If you would like us to repair or service your traser H3 watch, please read the following points :

  1. Ensure your watch is well packed and protected to avoid damage during transit.
  2. Enclose a detailed letter describing the problem and your requirements.
  3. Make sure that you have enclosed your name, return address and daytime Telephone Number / email address so we can easily contact you.
  4. Please write your name and address on the outside of the parcel.
  5. We advise you return your watch to us by Royal Mail Special Delivery so your watch is insured during transit to our premises. (£500 Insurance).

Upon receipt of your returned watch, we will carry out the repairs / service requested and contact you for payment on completion of the work carried out. If on inspection by our qualified watchmakers, additional parts are required, we will contact you with an estimate before proceeding with any work.

In certain cases, we have to charge a handling charge if you do not approve the estimate and ask us to return the watch without repair, is beyond economical repair or the parts for the watch are no longer available.

In this situation, the handling charge is £10.00 to cover time and return postage by Royal Mail Special Delivery.

Service & Repair Routine

When you return your watch to us for repair/service, your watch will undergo a thorough service routine as described below

  1. All "O" rings and seal gaskets will be inspected and replaced as necessary.
  2. The case and bracelet will be ultrasonically cleaned.
  3. The battery will replaced with new.
  4. The movement will be inspected and tested for health i.e. circuit tested for consumption, rate and mechanical function
  5. Strap pins will be replaced
  6. The bezel will be removed, inspected, cleaned and reset for function
  7. On assembly your watch will be pressure tested for water resistance up to the original specification of the watch prior to despatch and a printout of the test results will be provided along with a work shop report showing all parts replaced and work completed. (See notes on water resistance)

Our Complete Service for all Quartz models cost is £35.00 which includes the return postage by Royal Mail Special Delivery

Our Complete Service for all Automatic models cost is £120.00 which includes the return postage by Royal Mail Special Delivery

We will not carry out any additional work without first contacting you. Additional parts if replaced during service with your permission cost the following:

  1. New mineral crystal glass £15.00
  2. New sapphire crystal glass £35.00
  3. Crown and stem £20.00
  4. Complete movement replacement - Quartz £25.00 , Chronograph £45.00 & Automatic £140.00
  5. New Polyamide/carbon bezel £20.00
  6. Titanium bezel £35.00
